Assign a configuration to a scope and device-function. Config profiles may be applied within a specific context, identified by a scope and a device function.
A scope defines the subset of devices in the network infrastructure that the profile is to be applied to.
These are the type of scopes: Global, Site Collection, Site, Device Group, Device. Each scope is identified by an id and name.
Device function: Access Switch, Branch Gateway, Mobility Gateway, Campus AP, etc are a few examples. These are identified
using device function indentifiers like SWITCH, BRANCH_GW, MOBILITY_GW, CAMPUS_AP, etc respectively.
For example: A certain role can be assigned to a certain Site(a geographical location like a campus) or to a specific device for a Campus AP device function.
