Routing Information Protocol (RIP) is a distance-vector interior
gateway protocol (IGP) using hop count as the routing metric
with a maximum of 15 hops (RFC 2453). RIP supports RIPv1 and
RIPv2 for IPv4 networks with features including route
redistribution, authentication, route filtering, and
configurable timers. Configure RIP router instances with
administrative distance, maximum paths, timers (update,
timeout, garbage-collection), route redistribution from other
protocols, and interface-specific parameters. Use this API to
retrieve the list of RIP profiles.
