Initiates asynchronous application of a preconfiguration to a discovered appliance (visible in the Orchestrator's discovered tab). This endpoint differs from /apply in that it targets appliances not yet approved/managed. The operation parses the YAML config, approves the appliance, adds it to the network, and applies configuration steps. Use GET /gms/appliance/preconfiguration/apply with preconfigId to poll status.
