Change user password

Changes an authenticated user's password. Validates the old password before allowing the change. Updates password expiration time based on system settings. For 'admin' user on non-container deployments, also updates the Unix and Apache admin password.

The username of the account whose password is being changed. Must match an existing user in the system.

Current and new password credentials for the password change operation.

Request body for changing a user's password. Both current and new passwords are required.

oldPassword

The user's current password. Must match the existing password stored in the system.

newPassword

length between 8 and 64

The new password. Must be 8-64 characters with uppercase, lowercase, digit, and special character. Cannot be the same as the old password. When enforcePasswordCriteria is enabled, cannot contain username or match common words/password history.
