Pre-validates a license key before applying via POST /gmsLicense. Decrypts and checks: (1) key format validity - must decrypt to SERIAL#MAX[#DATE], (2) serial number format - six hex pairs in XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX format, (3) max appliances is numeric, (4) for physical appliances only - serial number matches server MAC address. Virtual appliances accept any valid key. Does not check expiration date.
