Validate ECOS firmware upgrade compatibility for appliances

Validates ECOS firmware version compatibility for EdgeConnect appliance upgrades by consulting the Aruba Cloud Portal. Returns supported upgrade paths based on each appliance's model, platform, and current version. When imageUrl is provided, the version is extracted from the image's build_version.txt file. In Air-Gap mode, validation is skipped and a message advises checking Release Notes. Requires READ_WRITE role permission.

Validation request with target versions and optional appliance filters. At minimum, provide either versions array or imageUrl.

Request parameters for validating ECOS firmware upgrade compatibility. Provide either versions array or imageUrl. All fields are optional with specific behaviors when omitted.

Pre-populated appliance info array. If provided with data, skips database lookup and uses these appliances directly for validation.
